PC Vietnam Limited (PCVL) has successfully conducted its first Townhall on 16 March 2012 with participation from more than 160 staff.  In line with PETRONAS President & CEO’s Townhall and EVP –  Exploration & Production’s Townhall , Mr. Mohamed Firouz Asnan, General Manager of PCVL, shared Dato’ President’s message on the “Performance and Delivery”. It is the theme that the whole organization is dedicating its focus on and it is critical for all staff to be in sync with the rest of the organization. The session continued with PCVL’s business performance and challenges in 2011. In his delivery, Mr. Firouz Asnan also communicated PCVL’s strategies and plans for 2012 and engaged with staff with questions and answers session throughout the session.

PETRONAS Carigali Vietnam Limited (PCVL) recorded another astounding breakthrough in safely delivered 200th crude oil lifting program (RB-200) on 29th January 2012. This achievement was a significant milestone for PCVL to start the new year of 2012 with a high note. It was also achieve right after PCVL was awarded the Certificate of Merit for 2011 by PETROVIETNAM as the recognition and acknowledgement for the PCVL’s sustainable contribution in Vietnam’s oil and gas industry.

On February 3, 2012, PETRONAS Vietnam held its annual gathering at the Van Thanh Park, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to enjoy traditional Lunar New Year festivities or “Tet”, as generally known in Vietnam. 400 participants – staff and their families as well as business partners, attended the event, conducted in the main hall in Van Thanh Park. There were also guests from Malaysian communities in HCMC such as Malaysia Business Chambers as well as staffs from Malaysia Consul General Office in HCMC. The event was also graced by YBhg. Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, Executive Vice President, Downstream Business of PETRONAS and his wife, Datin Dr Azura Tajuddin.
